This gave me an idea for a  friendship bracelet that you cannot take off. This ribbon is cute, but it would be better to personalise to the friends common interests. I don't know, like beads or something. Kind of like a pretty gang tattoo for girls. Though, first you have to have close friends... o.O 




I made milk chocolate truffles t'other day.
Before I could coat the mixture in a layer of chocolate I had to cut off the fat that seemed to have separated from the rest...I thought this was odd, but was glad, as it meant that I did not have to eat it unknowingly. Yes, I expect that there was still a great amount of fat within the final truffle, but I did not have to see it. eww.
They were not round, but instead were somewhat spikey. This in no way affected the taste. Sickly sweet and better than what I expected. 



This was a practise attempt, as for a valentines present (as officially we are not getting each other presents, I thought this would not count as it is coming out of our joint shopping money) I will use one of green and black's flavours. Probably maya gold for the truffle and dark chocolate for the coating. He does appreciate sickly sweet things, the way I do, nevertheless, I am sure if he does not like them, I would gladly help devour them! :D

Oh gosh, I've only just realised what I've grown into.
A monster of a troll.
Not even one of the cool trolls, with the multi-coloured crazy hair. Oh no, I think the best way to describe it as  scary swamp/cave troll.

I'm afraid their is no known cure for this condition. But any donations that the HelpSaveAnUglyTroll Foundation receive will go towards funds for plastic surgery for these poor creatures. I am on the waiting list. It is up to you to make a difference...

Update on my life....

It is boring. My life. Seriously. I want to be back at Uni. I want to feel petrified, standing up teaching. My days consist of house work/ the occasional 'semi-jog' on the running machine/ baking/ and watching cartoons.
I have just got into Black Butler and absolutely love the costumes, and the humorous twist on Victorian society.

It glamorises Jack the Ripper that's how good it is! It makes me wish that I was alive then. I would even go as far as saying that western people could even get away with cosplaying it.

Moving on.

Another one, that actually has only just started is Gosick. Again it is set in Europe, a made-up country in Europe in 1924. The main female character is called Victorique. VICTORIQUE! If I did the same to my name it would be Elizabique which would sound like /ɪˈlɪzəbiːk/or (ee-liz-uh-beak) which is not as pleasant sounding. ;sigh;

You should watch it. It has suspense. A possible romance. Mystery. Children solving crimes. What else do you need? I'm not being sarcastic. Watch it. = =

Okay, now I'm done being a bully.

I made scones. And surprisingly they were nice. :)

Actually they were delicious. This was the first time (dessert-wise) that I liked something I made on its first attempt. So, I had them with afternoon tea. Rose Tea. In my fancy old fashioned cup. Vintage cup. (I am fooling myself it is second hand which means that a stranger drank from it [but then again isn't this what happens in restaurants? Sharing cutlery and such with stranger]). Anyway, it was lovely. All that was missing was the attire. I don't really think my over-sized trackies matched...... neither did Yin's complaining about the fattiness of the clotted cream. I still enjoyed them.

I really shouldn't complain about my taxing life. In some ways its insulting.

Now a summary of new likes I discovered since being back in London. Random :D
